In mid-2020 regular Grub hosts Ben Russell, Anne Edmonds and Greg Larsen began signing off with the catchphrase "Check Out 'The Simpsons'!" in a halting unison (for both bonus episodes and regular episodes). Typically one of the hosts would make an oblique reference to the show in the episode's wind up, whereupon they feign only slight knowledge of the cultural phenomenon, culminating in all three urging listeners to seek out the animated family's adventures, in an ironic gesture.
More recently the trend has been a competition to say the catchphrase first, with Eddo taking the honours on most occasions.
