'Jarrod' is a suspicious man allegedly from ‘Londontown’. Interviewed in Episode 15 by Greg and Eddo about association football, he runs through a list of players and teams that seemed only loosely connected to reality. He claims to support the Newtown Pirates in the Premier League, featuring his favourite players Moro and Watban. He cites another 'great' team: Northern Downs. He also likes Castlesmith who claims has a terrific goalkeeper, Whitney. He dubiously claims that Manchester United's manager (or 'coach' as he calls him) is named Darren and will be better after they get rid of player Markosh.
In domestic football he claimed that one of Melbourne's teams in the A-League is named the 'Green Park Downy Boys'. Even more strangely, when pressed to repeat his own name he struggles to remember, claiming his name is Jim before running off.
Jarrod returns in Episode 27, seemingly having remembered his name, being introduced as Jarrod Stains in the telecast of the 2019 Rugby League State of Origin alongside commentator Kay Warren. However Jarrod struggles to bring insight to the telecast, calling the sport 'rugbyball' and wondering which state the Origin is in: solid or gaseous. In the end a frustrated Kay beats Jarrod and then amputates his penis with a 'tough Queensland saw' before eating it.
Jarrod has never heard of AC Milan.
